Baosteel cuts flats offers for August domestic sales
China’s leading flat steel manufacturer Baosteel has decided to cut the offers of some popular products for domestic sales in August, Kallanish learns.
A price reduction of CNY 100/tonne ($13.7/t) is applied to hot/cold rolled coil, thick plate, pickled and aluminium-zinc-aluminium-magnesium steel. Meanwhile, other products will see stable quotations, including galvanized, coated and silicon steel.
