Volkswagen buys stake in EIT InnoEnergy
Volkswagen Group is joining EU-backed innovation fund EIT InnoEnergy through an undisclosed investment, the parties announced on 3 November.
With the shareholding investment, the carmaker plans to have access to a number of innovative technologies and business models needed to decarbonise the transport sector. The strategic partnership will cover joint innovation and investment activities, Kallanish learns.
