Viridis expands Brazilian rare earths project

Australian miner Viridis Mining and Minerals said Tuesday it has acquired seven rare earth tenements in Brazil for AUD 131,000 ($86,300). One of the tenements was bought in an auction held by the National Mining Agency and the others were acquired from local company IRS Minerals.
