US EXIM to loan $400m for Missouri cobalt-nickel project
US Strategic Metals (USSM) has received a letter of interest from the Export Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) for a potential debt funding package of $400 million.
Missouri-based USSM is developing an “urban mine,” where it will recycle critical minerals from lithium-ion batteries, and a traditional mine to extract cobalt, nickel and copper.
