GM provides battery technology for military testing
General Motors has agreed to provide its commercial battery electric technology to be evaluated for military use.
The scope is to understand the capabilities of commercial automotive batteries under dynamic discharge and charge scenarios, with a view of selecting domestically supplied energy storage for the military.
