Ford updates electrification timeline, provides Lightning launch details
US auto producer Ford has released an updated timeline of its electrification push in conjunction with additional details of its new Lightning electric pick-up, Kallanish reports.
Ford plans to spend $22 billion through 2025 on electrification. Milestones detailed in the updated timeline include: current deliveries of the Mustang Mach-E; the debut of the new E-Transit by the end of 2021; and the launch of the F-150 Lightning in spring 2022.
