EnergyX bids for Galan Lithium’s Argentina assets
Australia-listed Galan Lithium said Tuesday it has received an unsolicited proposal from Energy Exploration Technologies (EnergyX) to acquire Galan’s Argentinian lithium assets.
The proposal from the Texas-headquartered lithium technology start-up includes $50 million in cash and shares in EnergyX worth $50m. A further $50m would also be made available to finance the projects in Argentina, bringing the deal total to $150m.
