China to review NEV business of state-owned automakers
China intends to conduct separate assessments for the new energy vehicle (NEV) businesses of three state-owned automakers – FAW, Dongfeng Group and Changan Group, Kallanish reports.
According to government statements, Zhang Yuzhuo, director of China's State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council said during a recent congress meeting that the state-owned carmakers are behind BYD and Tesla in terms of NEV development.
