BLM approves Nevada's Yellow Pine Solar storage project
The Bureau of Land Management has given final approval to a 500-megwatt solar and associated storage project in southern Nevada, Kallanish reports.
The Yellow Pine Solar Project is being developed by Yellow Pine Solar LLC, a subsidiary of NextEra Energy Resources.
It will include solar generation and battery storage, plus related facilities and grid connections. It will produce enough electricity to power 100,000 homes.
