Turkish domestic scrap stable after imports rebound
Turkish steelmakers have kept their domestic scrap buying prices unchanged since last week, despite the slight rebound in import prices, Kallanish observes.
Imported HMS 80:20 prices declined last week to $279/tonne and $283/t cfr Turkey on bookings concluded from the USA and Baltic respectively. They have increased to $280/t and $285/t cfr respectively in bookings made over the weekend.
