Russia’s Novorosmetall eyes Turkey’s Bastug Metallurgy: sources
Russian long steelmaker Novorosmetall is in talks to acquire Turkish long steel producer Bastug Metallurgy, according to multiple market sources.
“Negotiations, which have been going on for some time, have come to an end, and Novorosmetall and Bastug are about to sign a preliminary agreement,” one market source tells Kallanish.
Bastug is expected to make an official announcement this week.
