Indian primary producer raises rebar prices again
Indian domestic rebar prices have been on a positive trajectory since the beginning of April, with major steel mill SAIL announcing a INR 1,500/tonne ($18/t) hike on Monday.
Other mills are expected to follow suit, marking the fourth consecutive round of price increases. This amounts to a total hike of INR 3,000-4,000/t ($36-48) within a month, notes Kallanish.
