India drives Russian pig iron demand
Russian pig iron exporters were on holiday this week, with trade expected to ramp up from 13 May onwards, market participants inform Kallanish.
Meanwhile, pig iron from Tula Steel was heard on offer at $425/tonne fob Black Sea, while Ural Steel was heard available at $410-415/t fob.
Three market participants, representing the buy-side, considered workable prices at around $395-400/t fob.
