Cogne completes ComSteel acquisition
Italian stainless long steel producer Cogne Acciai Speciali, a subsidiary of Taiwanese stainless steelmaker Walsin Lihwa, has completed the acquisition of its main stainless steel scrap supplier, ComSteel Inox, Kallanish notes.
“Such upstream integration is strategic and will guarantee an improved circularity profile for all the activities of the group,” the company says.
