Consortium launches guidance, demonstrator for EU Battery Passport
The so-called Battery Pass consortium published on Tuesday a technical guidance and software demonstrator for the EU Battery Passport, a regulation coming into force in 2027.
Audi, BMW, Circulor, Mercedes-Benz and Umicore are among the 11 international industry, technology and science organisations forming the consortium. The group is led by system change company Systemiq GmbH and co-funded by Germany’s economic affairs and climate action ministry.
